Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026 · Version 2026-10-01
These terms govern use of Trillion, operated under the Trillion Global name (“Trillion,” “we,” “us”), by coaches, organizers, parents, guardians and athletes. By accepting these terms, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account independently. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must create or authorize your account through their own linked adult account and accept these terms for themselves and, to the extent legally permitted, on your behalf. Children under 13 cannot sign in until the required parental consent has been verified and approved. A coach’s invitation or an athlete’s statement that a parent agreed does not replace parental authorization.
Provide accurate information, use a separate account for each person, protect passwords and recovery codes, and notify us of suspected misuse. Do not misrepresent age, parental authority, identity or team membership. An invitation grants only the access expressly assigned to it. Parents control whether a child has a separate login; parent-managed profiles do not require a child account.
2. Youth safety and transparency
Adults may not privately message minors through Trillion. Coaches must communicate through team-visible channels or permitted supervised groups. Athlete direct and group messages remain visible to linked parents. Youth team access requires every linked parent to have the required team membership. Do not move conversations off-platform to evade supervision, request secrecy, solicit personal contact with a child, or use alternate accounts to bypass controls.
Parents may review their child’s profile and communications available through linked access and withdraw account authorization. Coaches-only planning remains private to authorized staff; parents do not receive access to unrelated staff conversations or other families’ private athlete profiles. Linked parental visibility is a product safeguard and does not mean Trillion continuously monitors every message.
3. A positive community
Treat athletes, coaches, families, officials and opponents respectfully. No bullying, harassment, threats, discrimination, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, grooming, doxxing, impersonation, scams, unlawful conduct, or sharing another person’s private information without authority. Respect team rules and others’ rights. Do not attack, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or circumvent security or access restrictions.
Report concerns through Privacy & safety requests and notify a trusted adult. For immediate danger contact emergency services. Do not upload suspected child sexual abuse material to a support request. We may investigate, preserve evidence, restrict access, remove content and cooperate with authorities as required or permitted by law. Trillion is not an emergency service.
4. Parents, coaches and organizations
Parents are responsible for providing valid authorization, maintaining their own linked access, and supervising their child’s appropriate use. Coaches and organizers are responsible for accurate invitations, authorized roster data, appropriate team activities, safe conduct and compliance with their organization’s rules. A coaching role does not create parental authority or access to private family profiles. Trillion does not certify coaches, conduct background checks, supervise practices, or provide medical, legal or professional training advice.
5. Your content and privacy
You retain rights to content you submit. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it, including permissions relating to athlete images and recordings. You grant Trillion a nonexclusive license to store, process and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and support the service and comply with law, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable deletion rights. This is not permission to use a child’s likeness in public marketing or disclose private content publicly.
Choose audiences carefully. Publishing to a team makes content available to authorized team members. A deliberately enabled spectator link may be forwarded; its access is limited to the scoreboard information described in the interface. Other members can copy or capture information they can see. Do not post sensitive information unnecessarily.
6. Resources, AI and third parties
Playbooks, drills and AI suggestions are starting points for human review, may be inaccurate, and are not guarantees of safety or results. Coaches must adapt activities to athletes and conditions. Proposed assistant changes require the confirmation shown in the app. Third-party links and embedded media are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy practices. Trillion does not control their availability or endorse every linked item.
7. Availability and future paid features
Core coaching, athlete and family access is offered free as described on our pricing page. Any optional paid feature will disclose its separate price and applicable terms before purchase; accepting these terms does not authorize a charge. We may maintain, update, limit or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent availability of records. Keep appropriate independent copies of essential information.
8. Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not guarantee athletic outcomes, content accuracy, or that every harmful act will be prevented.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trillion is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Trillion for the service during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct or other nonwaivable obligations. Mandatory consumer and child privacy rights remain intact.
9. Responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, adult users agree to indemnify Trillion against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from their unlawful conduct, infringement of others’ rights, or material breach of these terms. This does not apply to claims caused by Trillion’s own unlawful conduct or liabilities that cannot be shifted by law, and does not impose an independent indemnity obligation on a minor.
10. Suspension, termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate access for safety, security, unlawful activity or material violations. You may stop using the service, withdraw child authorization, or request deletion through Privacy & safety requests. Access restrictions do not automatically erase records, and deletion remains subject to applicable rights and legitimate legal preservation duties.
We will identify material changes with an updated version and request renewed acceptance when appropriate. Material changes to children’s information practices require the applicable renewed parental consent. No term waives a right that cannot legally be waived. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
